Title: Senior Project Manager
We are looking for a senior project manager and multi-talented individual to manage the day-to-day activities associated with multiple construction cladding projects. Someone who can lead the company into increased year over year profitability and considered a veteran in the industry with several years of experience working with ACM and Metal Wall Panels, Phenolic and High-Pressured Laminate Wall Panels, Extrusions, Z furring members, Nichiha, Knotwood, Perforated Screen Walls, and the attachment systems for the materials mentioned herein. Your role is crucial at the company as we will rely on you to build relationships with our fabrication and installation team, owners, subcontractors and general contractors.
Compensation: The base salary is 75-125k per year (paid weekly), depending on level of experience.
Commitment:This position is a full-time position. It is required that you work directly from the Houston (Orchard, TX- Borders Rosenberg) office location, unless traveling for business.
Start Date: Immediately

Vacation:We offer paid vacation time off for 1 week during the first year of employment, 2 weeks the second year and 3 weeks after 3 years. Automatic days off include national holidays, such as New Year’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Easter and other major US Holidays.
Relocation: If you currently live outside our geographic location,the company will assist with paying any relocation expenses related to move to the Houston area or nearby the office location. The expenses will be negotiable depending on the living circumstances of the candidate. The company can also refer you to a licensed realtor to help you purchase or rent a property in the Houston area as well.
Job Duties:
Managing our installation and fabrication team to ensure all projects are assembled and installed properly on time, within budget, and constructed of high-quality materials.
Take full responsibility for all activities that occur in the field and inspection of the installation crews at the job site.
Attend meetings with the GC's as required.
Responsible for taking field measurements on tall structures, multiple elevations, writing those dimensions on the shop drawings and communicating with our drafting department so they can sketch ACM Panels and order single skin metal panels the right size.
Preparing a buy list to the Metal Panel Vendors based on field measurements and review all material take offs.
Communicating with accounting department on job cost submission and must be an expert at cost control and avoid going over budget in materials and labor on a project.
Implementing and executing the project schedule, sequencing, and communicating with shop and field labor for the execution of daily activities for projects.
Serve as a liaison for the General Contract, Architect, Engineer, and owner for the duration of the project.
Provide submitals, shop drawings, color sample, product sample, product data, product testing to customer on a expeditious manner.
Review scope of work thoroughly with the estimating department after its award to the company.
Must keep a monthly tally of percentage of completion of a project and communicating that to the accounting or owner who handles the pay applications. Knowledge of creating a G702 pay apps is a plus.
Issuing and tracking of PO’s on material and coordinating with freight with the vendor and the company’s in house driver.
Negotiating with vendors on large scale material purchases on price and terms. Always shopping the market and building relationship with multiple vendors
Ensure that all employees are up to date on their OSHA requirements and to ensure that all field staff are implementing OSHA safety standards.
Manage daily written communication with clients, subcontractors, architects and owners and staff.
Manage all RFI and RFP’s and communicate changes to staff
Submit all change orders and price them accordingly based on the new scope of work and aggressively pursue them.
Provide field support until final completion of the project. Manage all punch list items, warranties and other closeout documents on expeditious manner to shorten the period of obtaining the final retainage payment for the GC and us.
Provide Year End reports to management on shop and field production.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or similar background.
Minimum two years of project management experience, specifically with ACM and metal façade systems.
Demonstrated track record of problem solving and satisfying client relationships
Demonstrated track record of successfully starting and completing projects over $2 million in sales revenue.
An expert in obtaining change orders.
Comfort with occasional overnight travel, locally and out-of-state by car or plane.
Comfort with heights. You will be taking field measurements on a boom lift or a swing stage on very tall buildings.
