Your role in our success will be:
Reading and recording of customer gas meters and ensuring that the readings are consise and accurate. Insure that all equipment is safe and in good working order. Other duties as assigned by the District Manager
What you'll be working on:
- Read and record customer gas meters.
- Check tank inventory percentages.
- Enter readings in meter books.
- Verify meter serial number to customer account number to insure proper billing.
- Answer customer questions regarding service or billing.
- Report inventory tank percentages to delivery Manager.
- Report any damaged or defective meters or faulty equipment to Service Manager for repair or replacement.
- Report equipment in need of painting, assist painting meter equipment when requested.
Who you are:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of propane meters.
- Capable of accuracy in paperwork to assure accurate readings.
- Ability to operate company vehicle (Non-CDL)
- Job requires a lot of walking, outdoors in various weather conditions.
