Role Summary

Shall Possess sound technical knowledge on Special processes like Painting and Coating especially ENP, Painting, Rubber processing, Heat treatment, Surface protection processes Phosphating, Anti-friction coating, Sealant manufacturing for Valves Should possess adequate experience in handling of Chemical laboratory equioments for chemical analysis and has a Good technical acumen for preparation of technical procedures for all above processes as per customer requirements and ensure all technicalities are addressed adequately and queries shall be addressed convincingly.Shall exhibit skills in resolving rust / corrosion issues and implement solutions in eliminating rework because of Rust contamination.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Possesses sound technical knowledge on Special processes not limiting ENP, Painting, Rubber processing, Heat treatment, Surface protection processes like – Phosphating, Anti-friction coating, Sealant manufacturing for Valves .
• Shall have adequate knowledge on preparation of procedures for all above processes as per customer requirements and ensure all technicalities are addressed adequately and queries shall be addressed convincingly.
• Should possess hands on experience in Analysis of testing water, chemicals used in Industry. Adequate knowledge on handling laboratory chemicals for various industrial testing purposes.
• Exhibit skills in resolving rust / corrosion issues.
• Suggest solutions in eliminating rework because of Rust contamination.
• Should have prepared and validated procedures for various processes like ENP, Painting, Rubber processing, Heat treatment, Surface protection processes like – Phosphating, Anti-friction coating.
• Handling of Sealant manufacturing is an added advantage. Should work with production team and enhance the process by providing appropriate solutions with respect to Painting, Coating and Rust issues.
• Populate MSDS & its safety concerns to the shop personnel and avoid incidents due to chemicals.
• Should have adequate knowledge in EMS.
• Partners with Manufacturing Supervisors to achieve Flowserve goals and objectives.
• Specifies and acquires factory supplies that reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
• Assists with training, instructing, and maintaining a flexible operator CNC programming and tooling skill base.
• Troubleshoots processed and equipment minimizing delays in production schedules.
• Assists with development of the profit plan and the manufacturing strategic plan. Track assigned capital projects and expenditures status to ensure timely completion and within budget.
• Keeps abreast of new developments in the field of machine tool equipment, tooling, and methods. Recommend innovative solutions when applications are feasible to improve throughput and quality.
• Understands and supports all Company objectives and performs duties delegated by management.
• Enforces safety rules by ensuring that tooling, fixtures, and process meet all applicable OSHA regulations.
• Enforces Flowserve's environmental policies by ensuring that processes meet all applicable environmental regulations. Subcontractors are made aware of Flowserve's applicable environmental policies and are managed to these policies.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to be a team player.
• Treats all customers and fellow employees with respect.
• BE/BTech Degree in relevant field with minimum 7 to 10 years experience (Possessing knowledge on Polymer technology will be an added advantage).
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Proven track record of leading and driving cost reductions in a manufacturing environment utilizing Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine and technical correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
