México HR Ops and Payroll Supervisor

The MĂ©xico HR Ops and Payroll Supervisor role (Mexico City based) will specialize in HR operations andÂ
payroll-related for Mexico. You will report to LATAM Regional HR Operations Process Improvement andÂ
Payroll Manager oversight in partnership with HR and Finance teams.Â
Job Responsibilities:Â
- Guarantee accurate and timely management of the company's HR Operations and Payroll deliverablesÂ
- Gathering all necessary employee information, including hours worked, overtime, and any deductions orÂ
- bonuses for different types of contract employees.Â
- Data Verification: Ensuring that all collected data is accurate and complete before proceeding with payrollÂ
- calculations.Â
- Payroll Calculation: Calculating gross pay, deductions, severance payments, benefits and net pay for eachÂ
- employee.Â
- Compliance Check: Verifying that all payroll activities comply with local labor laws, regulations andÂ
- company policies.Â
- Payment Processing: Ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees through the appropriateÂ
- channels.Â
- Reporting: Generating and distributing payroll reports for internal use and statutory compliance.Â
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and secure payroll records for future reference and audits.Â
- Oversight of HR Operations employment transactions such as finalizing the processing of hires andÂ
- terminations in Workday and the Payroll systemÂ
- Rewards program administration in support of the Total Rewards Manager (e.g., compensationÂ
- administration, employee benefits administration, etc.)Â
- Manage the day-to-day operations of ServiceNow case volume, ensuring efficient assignment, tracking,Â
- and resolution of HR cases in alignment with service delivery & employee satisfactionÂ
- Collaborate with local team to drive enhanced ways of working in alignment with global processes andÂ
- standardizationÂ
- Conduct analyses focused on data in our source systems (Workday, ServiceNow, and 3rd Party payrollÂ
- systems) to drive continuous improvement of data quality and integrityÂ
- Provide leadership to direct reports ensuring ways of working are aligned with the business (if applicable)Â
- Engage in internal and external audits of HR and payroll processes to ensure adherence to legalÂ
- regulations and organizational policies.Â
- HR outsourcing vendors managementÂ
Skills & Qualifications:Â
- Strong work ethic for process improvement and problem solving with analytical skills resulting in the abilityÂ
- to identify root causes, trends or variances and the ability to propose solutionsÂ
- Extensive knowledge including payroll collection, preparation and payment, payroll taxes, payrollÂ
- accounting, insurance policies, benefits in kind, savings fund, etc.Â
- Knowledge and experience in compliance, wage and hour laws, and time & attendance systemsÂ
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate results and issues to varyingÂ
- audiences (English and Spanish required)Â
- Must be highly organized, capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously, able to prioritizeÂ
- issues appropriately and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionÂ
- Previous experience managing audit responsesÂ
Job Requirements:
Formal education: Related degree.Â
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in general processes of HR Operations and Payroll.Â
Languages: English and Spanish proficiency is a must.
