MFG Data SW Development Engineer

Summary

This role is part of the Manufacturing Infrastructure, Data and AI Systems team (MIDAS).As a Data software engineer, you will develop software solutions that will collect, store, transform, and visualize of all of our manufacturing data including applied AI for manufacturing systems.The MIDAS team is chartered with driving 10X efficiency improvements in connecting our users to relevant data to enable them to provide oversight and drive corrective actions to product design, components, assembly, and test from component, module, SMT and FATP production.This role, although challenging, will leverage your diverse skill set and ability to work with the natural ambiguity associated with innovation.

Required Skills

MFG Data SW Development Engineer Responsibilities:

• This role will be responsible for the Development of software applications that improve data collection efficiency, transport, storage, transformation, and visualization.
• Proficiency with multiple software programming languages and development environments (C,C++,Python, Java) , (React js) will be leveraged routinely to deliver bench mark solutions.
• Responsible for driving applied AI/ML that is destined to transform how we scale AI into product manufacturing.

Minimum Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in software development.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, Python & React js.
• Experience developing scalable solutions in AWS environments.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing data collection & processing.

Preferred Qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Networking, Servers, Firewalls, and security policy deployment, monitoring, and enforcement.
• Masters degree in software / AI related discipline.
• 10+ years of related experience in manufacturing data collection & processing.
• Multi lingual (English, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish).
