The Investor Advice Solutions (IAS) Strategy & Field Enablement (SAFE) team is responsible for designing and orchestrating the integration strategy for all IAS initiatives impacting our wealth management client-facing personnel. The Manager is responsible for the support, coordination, and administration of events and projects supporting the Investor Advice Solutions organization. This role will work closely with Directors, Sr. Regional Managers, BDOs and other leaders and partners to develop, implement, and facilitate virtual and in-person events and experiences, including other projects that help build strong relationships between IAS and partners.

• Project management and execution of all event logistics; from venue research, proposal review, budget management, email invitations, invitee management, onsite management, and post-event follow up, including budget reconciliation, communications, and survey management
• General event support; facilitating prep-meetings, speaker coordination, logistics, and on-site or virtual support. Ensure all events deliver a consistent and robust brand experience and are executed to the highest standards
• Vendor and venue management; establishing and maintaining external relationships while adhering to Schwab policies
• Budget tracking and reporting
• Monitoring business, leadership, and partner audience calendars, coordinating, maintain, and scheduling meetings, making travel and/or meeting arrangements
• Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

What you have

Required:

• Experience in event planning, marketing, or project management
• Knowledge of Webex Webinars, including webinar set up, hosting, and post-reporting
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines, budgets, and detailed project plans
• High adaptability and flexibility to work successfully under pressure and through quick changes in decisioning
• The ability to quickly understand Schwab processes, manage multiple projects, and be proactive and flexible with change
• The ability to collaborate with small and large teams and form positive partnerships that help get work done efficiently and effectively with a broad range of contacts from technical staff to senior management
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

• Excellent computer skills (MS Office). High proficiency in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required
• Outstanding written and oral and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously with an aptitude for problem solving; a proven self-starter
• A desire and willingness to learn new skills
