Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
What your background should look like:• Develop and Implement appropriate Product Line Strategies to support the Business Unit goals accomplishment.• Represents Procurement within the Product Lines on activities related with new product development, optimization and product launches.• Monitor, control and implement improvement actions relevant to defined KPI's within Automotive Procurement Americas.• Ensure that selection and development of new suppliers is in alignment with regional and global strategy within Procurement and with the specific Product Lines.• Drive & own Material Productivity Roadmap as defined within the Automotive Business Unit.• Guide and support supplier negotiation and selection as required for NPI programs and Engineering Changes on launching programs.• Ensures components & materials are sourced in full compliance with TE policies and guidelines.• Develop, promote and oversee guidelines for capacity and feasibility confirmations with suppliers selected in the NPI process.• Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define key performance indicators based on those objectives and provide relevant data, including analysis and insights.• Work simultaneously on multiple projects in support of multiple business units / regions.• Leverage and promote global processes, tools and best practices for Procurement Americas.• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders as the primary point of contact on relevant topics for NPI within Procurement.• Build strong and positive working relationships with all functional areas within Procurement and main stakeholders.• Oversee and define goals to employees, ensure projects and assignments to achieve targets.• Monitor and evaluate performance of employees, personnel requirements, selection and training.• Promote global mindset with strategic thinking within the organization.• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.• Minimum of 5 years of Procurement, Supply Chain Planning or Manufacturing.• Strong leadership experience managing large teams (preferred)• Proven experience in Management & Leadership skills.• High level expertise in procurement competencies (negotiation, supply chain, sourcing strategy development and execution and project / product lifecycle management)• Extensive experience working with multicultural and cross disciplined groups.• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as Injection Moulding, Metal Stamping, Electronics, and other mechanical processes.• Strong communication and presentation skills.• Ability to have interpersonal and political savvy to drive project teams• Excellent project management skills.• Ability to energize and motivate teams.• Proficient in SAP• Deal comfortably with senior management.• Fluency in English & Spanish (Preferred).• Business / Supply Chain Acumen• Negotiation Skills• Interpersonal Relationships

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $100,200 - $150,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
