ABOUT THE POSITION

Columbia Sportswear's dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 owned distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to get products to market quickly, safely, and in the most cost-effective manner across 7 geographies and 4 brands. By leveraging data to inform insights, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswear's supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers' ever-changing needs.

The Supply Chain Analytics team is comprised of experts supporting the end-to-end supply chain with critical insights that add value and create favorable outcomes for the supply chain, consumer and the company.

The Supply Chain Data and Analytics Manager (with a primary focus on Manufacturing) will lead and develop a team of analytics professionals to deliver and operationalize data and analytic priorities for the Supply Chain. This role will inform strategic direction to give best-in-class analytics capabilities, understand data sets, and leverage business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for the end-to-end supply chain. This role requires a strong partnership with leaders across Supply Chain - Manufacturing and Columbia Digital Technology (CDT) to prioritize and deliver data & analytics capabilities and, ultimately, data-driven decisions and outcomes.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Serve as a Data & Analytics leader for Supply Chain, driving delivery of vision and strategy for data & analytics adoption and maturity across the organization.
  • Create a culture of coaching to build an empowered data analyst team to ensure success in business and goal achievement
  • Influences and persuades others internally and externally; convert technical information to compelling business context and advice.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Manufacturing leadership to identify data & analytics priorities and manage delivery against these priorities in partnership with CDT.
  • Develop and foster relationships with other analytics functions across the organization, including the Analytics COE, Web Analytics, and other regional/brand-specific teams to maintain consistency and accuracy for CSC Analytics.
  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems; considers multiple sources of information to determine the best course of action for teams managed.

YOU ARE

  • Clear and effective communicator in small group settings and with large groups

  • Analytical, including problem-solving skills

YOU HAVE

  • 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, or Mathematics preferred. MBA and analytics certificates are beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience
  • Skilled in SQL, Power BI, Python/R/Scala, ETL, Azure datalake and data architecture
  • Advanced knowledge within Supply Chain Management and related areas and experience with multiple functional disciplines. Specialized knowledge of industry standards and practices for projects and initiatives.
