POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Manager, Supply Chain/Tech Design, you will spearhead a dynamic rotational program meticulously crafted to nurture multifaceted competencies spanning Sourcing, Production Development, and Supply Chain domains. Working in tandem with a seasoned Sr. Manager/Manager within the brand, you will supervise and orchestrate sourcing and production endeavors tailored to your assigned category. Your pivotal role is instrumental in championing the team's overarching vision, propelling business performance objectives forward, all while unwaveringly upholding principles of honesty and brand integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and mentor a team, offering guidance and support in Product Development and Sourcing processes under the Sr. Director's direction.
• Develop expertise in sourcing strategies, product development, production processes, and cost/pricing targets to foster innovation and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the creation of technical packages for new product development, ensuring precision, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage designated categories, overseeing fittings with cross-functional partners to ensure the attainment of product excellence.
• Cultivate robust relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors to forge strategic partnerships, achieve objectives, and collaboratively tackle challenges.
• Collaborate with category Sr. Manager/Manager to effectively communicate sourcing and product development requirements to vendors across all brands, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and standards.
• Analyze and rectify any manufacturing process issues, while closely monitoring timelines to guarantee timely product development and delivery.
• Oversee the production statuses and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries, managing orders with precision and efficiency.
• The Technical Design Manager provides specific technical support for Supply Chain through strong technical proficiency, organization, and leadership.
• Responsible for overseeing deadline adherence and ensuring clear communication regarding any encountered challenges.
• Lead and manage fittings and provide guidance and recommendations to improve fit with effective communication to factories.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Technical Design or a related field, providing a strong foundation for the role.
• 8+ years of experience in two or more categories within a catalog or Retail Apparel Sourcing and Production Environment, demonstrating seasoned expertise and leadership.
• Proficiency in category import restrictions, including quota and safeguards, as well as duty rates, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity with ease and delivering results under pressure.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and collaborating with long-distance cross-functional teams, demonstrating an understanding of cultural and time zone differences to foster effective collaboration.
• Professional work ethic and strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and driving success through collaboration.
