Mgr, Video Operations

JOB SCOPE
The Video Operations Tools & Automation team is seeking a manager to lead a dynamic and highly competent DevOps team supporting our tools infrastructure. Our team handles large scale hybrid infrastructure comprising of cloud, local and shared platform services and hardware. Successful candidate will have previous experience in DevOps, infrastructure management and automation platforms. This position will drive strategic direction and management across various platforms with varying degrees of technology.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a group of highly competent engineers and provide direction in designing, building and maintaining a stable and efficient tools & automation infrastructure.
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the internal and external customer experience across all supported tools.
• Direct and manage process improvement programs for video operations and ensure consistent operational procedures.
• Liaison between internal and external groups regarding DevOps principles and infrastructure consistent practices.
• Provide Engineering support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operations initiatives.
• Help grow our culture of learning and valuing our talent with mentoring, coaching and other development opportunities for self and team.

• BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of Software Engineering experience
  • At least Five (5) years of DevOps experience

  
  ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  

  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects and tasks - context switching
  • Must be able to work with internal/external clients, various operation support groups, vendors, carriers and utilize all tools and resources
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner

  
  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  

  • Management or leadership experience
  • Experience with Containerization and CI/CD

The pay for this position has a salary range of
$98,900.00 to $175,300.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
