Microservices Architect - Japanese Bilingual

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Architect in IBM Consulting you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.

You’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Strategic Analysis for Modernized IT Solutions: Analyze and translate IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution.
• Agile Development and Testing in Cloud Environments: Develop and test applications in cloud environments and be part of Delivery/Engagement teams.
• Optimization and Enhancement of Modernization Assets: Reuse and enhance Digital modernization assets methods and collateral.
• Collaborative Design and Deployment of Cloud Infrastructure: Collaborate in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions and services for our customer’s needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect in Java J2EE Spring Boot NodeJS REST API API development Microservices Openshift Kubernetes. Cloud – AWS or Azure Agile DevOps SQL and NoSQL database design.
• Significant experience in Retail Banking.
• Well versed with payments wealth management acquisitions channel integration spaces.
• Experience architecting end to end solution approach for Open banking and Digital experience platforms.
• Experience with operational management of solutions delivered to production.
• Proficient in Japanese Language – reading writing speaking listening.
• Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift mid-shift night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• JLPT N1-N3 certification is preferred
• Experience designing and building solutions with IBM API Connect API product.
• Knowledge of infrastructure setup involved in realization of a solution.
• Good experience with addressing security across layers (OAuth2/3 encryption SSL).
