West Monroe is hiring a Microsoft 365 Architect for our growing Enterprise Technology consulting practice! The architect will lead cross-functional teams in the design, architecture, build, and implementation of M365 and public cloud solutions for clients across various industries. Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of technology consultants in the design, build, and implementation of Microsoft 365 & public cloud solutions with the goal of improving client business and technical operations
  • Act as engagement lead and client POC, interview stakeholders, assess current state IT processes and infrastructure environments, gather/define requirements, and make solution recommendations
  • Oversee development of migration plans and strategies for implementing M365 applications, public cloud services, on-premise systems, and/or end-user technology
  • Identify opportunities to apply Infrastructure-as-Code, scripting, or other tools to modernize client environments and automate tasks during migrations
  • Lead solution roadmap discussions with client executives and communicate project status updates
  • Make use of both external and internal trainings, as well as our Cloud Center of Excellence, to sharpen existing technical skills and learn new technologies
  • Contribute to practice development and document repeatable solution strategies/processes
  • Act as career advisor for direct reports and train/mentor junior consultants on emerging M365 and cloud computing best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
  • Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience in cloud/IT architecture or management roles covering areas such as Microsoft 365 (required), Windows Server, public cloud computing, and end-user technology
  • Experience leading cross-organizational AD and Microsoft 365 migrations from on-prem
  • Deep hands-on experience with multiple of the following Microsoft 365 technologies: Exchange and SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, etc.
  • Preference for experience using scripting (I.e. Python, PowerShell), automation, and/or Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform to deploy hybrid cloud environments
  • Strong communication and project management skills in fast paced, dynamic environments
  • Ability to learn new M365 and other cloud/infrastructure technologies and adapt to industry shifts
  • Willingness to travel for out of town client engagements

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
