Microsoft 365 Senior Developer

Compensation Description

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually.

The Position

The Arrowhead Information Systems & Informatics team is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Developer, to help design and build one of the fastest growing technologies in our organization. Formerly Office 365, now newly rebranded Microsoft 365.

Location: San Diego, Pasadena, or Madison

Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Senior Developer play an important role in driving the technical solutions for projects in the organization. Because of the interdependent and networked nature of M365, A Senior developer need to understand the design, code, and features of related different areas, quickly come up to speed and implement features that provides employees and partners via their intuitiveness, attention to detail, and responsiveness. They must be able to design and implement services that are high scale, low latency, always on, low cost to maintain and operate. They work with principal engineers and architects to come up with the right design for their components and help influence the development of common patterns. They have good partnership and influence skills and are motivated and able to collaborate with various users across the organization.

• Drive a project through to delivery removing obstacles as needed to ensure success.
• Contribute to the design of large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code.
• Champion and drive improvements to best practices.
• Translate business requirements into business solutions
• Collaborate with Principal Collaboration Architect in the development of a technology roadmap
• Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to knowledge bases and educational material for users

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering and 7-10 years of software design and development experience with the Microsoft stack or the equivalent number of years of experience in lieu of the degree
• 14 +years of experience may suffice
• 5+ years hands on experience in any Object-Oriented coding language such as .net, HTML, CSS, C#, Java or Python
• 10+ years of experience with SharePoint. Must have deep experience with SharePoint Online
• 5+ years of experience with Office 365, the Power platform. Specifically with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms

Preferred:

• Ability to communicate technical details clearly
• Experience in DevOps to maintain live services andor application frameworks
• Cloud and services experience, with Azure cloud experience highly desirable
• Excellent analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design
• Passion for building reliable and well developed/reliable coding
• Experience with or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes
• Experience with Miro
• Experience with Smartsheets
• Experience with Project Online
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience with AWS
