Power Learn Academy is a 12-week training program, designed and operated by DCG, to give motivated career seekers a chance to get into the technology industry! The Consultants that come out of this program are in high demand and work with Microsoft clients and partners who need Microsoft application consulting services.

If selected to join the academy, you will join one of the most challenging and rewarding programs in the country where you will learn the ins and outs of Microsoft applications, develop the skills to use them successfully, and confirm your new-found knowledge by passing the Microsoft certification exam. This healthy mix of lecture and lab work is taught by some of the industry’s best consultants who are committed to supporting your new career journey. 

You do not need to have an IT background. If you’re a smart, humble, hungry, fast, honest, and collaborative individual that has an interest in technology, we want to talk to you. Individuals who especially thrive in this program include:

What to Expect 

• 12 weeks of full-time, hands-on training by the industry’s best consultants 

• Gain the skills required to successfully perform the role of a Microsoft Dynamics Consultant 

• Become confident in configuring and customizing key applications in the Dynamics product suite 

• Gain the skills to build custom applications and configure business processes using the tools provided with the Power Platform 

• Acquire basic skills across key Microsoft technologies 

• A Microsoft Surface Laptop 

• Financial compensation paired with a pay-back plan 

Apprentices who successfully complete the academy will:

• Pass the Microsoft Certification Exam 

• Undergo a 60-day paid internship 

• Interview for full time Microsoft Consulting positions provided by DCG’s placement specialist 

• Gain access to recruiter and marketing team for personal branding, interview, and resume prep 

• Travel to conferences and meetings when available

Responsibilities 

• Be punctual and attend class on time every day 

• Be attentive and complete all needed coursework 

• Get involved in class discussions and labs 

• Perform technology labs assigned to you by our Solution Consultant Instructors 

• Take quality notes and be able to refer to them when needed 

• Ask critical questions to best understand the material being covered 

• Complete coursework satisfactorily and on time 

• Maintain a passing grade at minimum 

• Study for and complete the Microsoft exam
