Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is searching for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to support our work for the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), an institute of the National Institutes of Health. This is a full-time position located at the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD and/or remote. 

We seek a creative professional to join a development team supporting the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation at the National Library of Medicine on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. The successful candidate will work with other developers and subject matter experts to modernize the Dynamics system and to create and deploy new features and applications.
 
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Canvas and Model Driven Dynamics 365 apps and extensions
• Maintain the existing Dynamics 365 Customer Service Hub and other apps, extensions, and processes with Microsoft Solutions
• Perform unit and system testing for workflow and customization projects.
• Provide advance troubleshooting support for problems that arise in Dynamics 365 and related processes by tracking down the root cause of coding or configuration failures.
• Contribute as a member of the systems administration team to support the installation, optimization, integration, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modification, security, and upgrading of Dynamics 365 systems and components.
• Work with product team to design changes to the system’s architecture and topology to improve performance and implement requests.
• Provide Systems Design documentation to append to Dynamics 365 manuals to reflect workflow and customizations including administration guides and system diagram updates.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 with other tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and in-house applications.

Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Dynamics 365 developer including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Demonstrated experience in usage of Microsoft Solutions to manage code between production, QA, and Sandbox environments.
• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.

Preferred experience:
• JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, REST and/or any other web technologies.
• Power Platform web application design and development, object-oriented programming and customizing enterprise tools.
• Dynamics 365 portal development and maintenance of a live production system or tool.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience working on Agile Scrum teams
