Microsoft Dynamics 365 Support Specialist
Location: Burbank, CA
Duration: 6 Months
The Job: As a Microsoft Dynamics D365 Certified Support Specialist (or prior experience with D365) -Tier III, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of retail point-of-sale (POS) systems and Warehouse hardware at Client. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining hardware and software components, providing technical support to clients, and contributing to a dynamic team on the Client Studio Lot. Let’s dive into the details:
Note:
M-F 8 hours-Flexible schedule. Needs to be able to work between 7am-6pm. Hours/schedule may change due to supporting teams in the UK and New York Teams. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of an 'emergency' on-call troubleshooting/support.
Years of experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience: You bring extensive knowledge of retail POS and warehousing systems. D365 Certification or prior practical experience with D365.
- Retail POS / Warehousing experience: You’re well-versed in the intricacies of retail hardware, including printers, label printers, handheld terminals (HHTs), and POS units.
- Fast-paced environment: You thrive in a dynamic setting and can adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Problem-solving skills: You’re a creative thinker who takes initiative to resolve issues efficiently.
- Team player: You seamlessly integrate into a collaborative support team.
Responsibilities
1. Installation and Configuration:
- Install software and hardware at client sites, ensuring proper setup and connectivity.
- Configure and test hardware and software components.
2. Client Support:
- Provide telephone, remote, and on-site support to clients, resolving issues promptly.
- Be prepared to work at the Client—this role isn’t desk-bound!
3. Technical Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with our suite of hardware and software product lines.
4. Client Training:
- Train clients on software and hardware usage, as well as troubleshooting techniques.
Requirements
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, various Windows operating systems, and networking.
Availability:
- M-F 8 hours-Flexible schedule. Needs to be able to work between 7am-6pm. Hours/schedule may change due to supporting teams in the UK and New York Teams
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of an 'emergency' on-call troubleshooting/support.
Communication Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
Background Check:
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Task Management:
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks both in the office and in the field.
Transportation:
- Reliable transportation to and from the Client.
Industry Experience:
- Preferably experienced in the Retail & Warehouse POS industry.
Configuration and Support:
- Experience in configuring, installing, training, and supporting hardware or software products.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Industry experience
- Being flexible in the hours they put in ( if they can work earlier to help other timezones is a plus)
