Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer

Service Express is looking for a talented professional who wants the opportunity to serve as a Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer for our organization. This role will join a well-established and mature Revenue Operations team. 

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) platform. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise in Dynamics GP development, customization, integration, and administration.

Here’s what this position is all about:

• Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics GP solutions to meet business requirements. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
• Develop and implement customizations, enhancements, and integrations using Dynamics GP tools. 
• Perform system configuration, data migration, and system upgrades as needed. 
• Integrating new entities through M&A activity.
• Supporting multiple currencies and multiple entities.
• End user support .
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Dynamics GP implementations.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system design, configuration, and processes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics GP updates, patches, and new features.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party solutions and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment of Dynamics GP solutions with business goals. 

What we are hoping you can bring to the Service Express team...

• Proven experience (10 years) as a Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer or similar role.
• Solid understanding of Dynamics GP modules including Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
• Experience with SQL Server and SQL scripting for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with SISS.
• Experience with eConnect and Postmaster
• Experience with FastPath
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Microsoft Dynamics GP certifications.
