The Mid Software Engineer is responsible for delivering results for the product development department by: Contributing to an Agile team that solves complex challenges and builds working software, rapidly producing high quality code,Ā being a dependable and highly skilled development resource for peers.
Responsibilities
- Ā The Mid Software Engineer designs, implements and tests cloud native, SaaS software consistently applying best practice software engineering.
- Object-oriented analysis (OOA), object-oriented design (OOD), and object-oriented programming (OOP) applying SOLID principles and design patterns in a variety of languages such as Microsoft SQL Server, Javascript, C++, and C#
- High-impact contributions and technical guidance to an agile software development team that solves complex problems to regularly ship high-quality, performant, secure software that operates on data at a massive scaleĀ
- Actively participate in our SCRUM process
- Partner closely with Customer Support, Operations, and end customers to address and troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and fix defects
- Maintain and improve a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery workflowĀ
- ObsessiveāÆfocus on quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing and static analysis as well as rigorous test strategy developmentĀ
- Effectively communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audience.
- Improves the software development process by recommending and instituting changes in policies and proceduresĀ
- Germinates and drives new ideas and encourages innovative practices amongst peersĀ
- Works collaboratively with their team to ensure defect prevention over detectionĀ
- Participates in regular on-call rotationsĀ
- Embrace and contribute to a learning/growth culture and promote a healthy work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years+ of experience in software development using C# and Microsoft SQL Server, or related object-oriented programming languages
- Experience leading an Agile software team, including mentoring and project leadership
- Experience developing scalable solutions in Azure or other cloud platforms
- Experience in CI/CD
- Understanding of DevOps principals
Compensation
- Relativity is committed to competitive, fair and equitable compensation practices.
- This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between 163,739 and 200,125 PLN. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidateās depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
