Mid Backend Engineer (Python, Go)

Our business partner is changing cloud security for the better. In an industry where virtually all of the innovation has been in finding security issues in the software development pipeline, they are focused on fixing them and reducing risk within the cloud. They are taking aim at the single biggest problem in cloud security with a three-step process: Discover and visualize customers’ code-to-production environment, reduce noise and find root causes and owners, and tee up a super dev-friendly fix that massively improves efficiency and builds trust between security and engineering teams.

Team will be responsible for API Integrations with security applications vendors. Their aim is to continuously fetch data from these vendors with their API and feed it into client with their ETL platform, with the intention of creating dozens of integrations.

Location: Kraków, Lublin, Remote from Poland

Salary:
B2B: 100 - 140 PLN/h

Team size:

1x Team Lead
3x Seniors with at least 5 years of experience.
2x strong Middles with at least 3 years of experience.
1x Senior Manual QA

Responsibilities:

• You will take part in the development of new core functionalities
• Be in charge of all engineering aspects of your projects (research, design, testing)
• Rollout & monitor your code in production to make sure we deliver the best customer experience.
• Take part in architectural discussions
• Be involved in the definition & planning of new features, with the Product management team
• Conduct Design and Code Reviews
• Contribute to company-wide code infrastructure

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience as a Backend Engineer, preferably on SaaS products in a cloud-native environment.
• Knowledge and experience with principles of fault tolerance, security, resilience, scalability in microservices architecture.
• Passion for new technologies, familiarity with emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the Cloud space.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python/Go.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform & Kubernetes - Advantage.
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem.
