What Will Be Your Purpose

The Mid-Group Pre-Sale Analyst works closely with the Senior Director of Sales, Mid-Group New Sales Executive, brokers, and internal business partners to ensure an accurate and competitive Florida Blue quote is generated. The Mid-Group Pre-Sale Analyst is a quick learner, who is detail oriented, can handle multiple priorities at once, and can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment that relies heavily on strong teamwork.

This position will work closely with the Mid-Group New Sales Executive to effectively prioritize new business opportunities based on that Sales Executive's unique "winnability" ranking system to ensure rapid and extensive sales focus on the most promising presale opportunities, while also identifying the best of the "lesser" prospects to help maximize overall close ratios. The position is integral in driving membership and revenue growth by managing multiple aspects of the quoting process and coordinating all deliverables to clients and/or brokers/producers. This position will interact with brokers and marketing specialists, as well as with potential clients on both a pre-sale and post-sale basis. This position communicates with new group customers and brokers to ensure complete and accurate business case data and documentation on each new group submission. The Mid-Group Pre-Sale Analyst must communicate effectively, developing and delivering communications in multiple mediums that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

What Will You Be Doing

  • This position will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and preparing health and ancillary quotes.
  • Analytical review of data to determine the viability of prospective clients.
  • Effectively and proactively communicate with brokers to obtain critical data elements and negotiate timelines.
  • Prepare medical, dental, life, vision, and other ancillary quotes across internal teams.
  • Manage the RFP quoting process while meeting/exceeding submission turnaround times.
  • Proactively communicate with internal business partners to facilitate RFP quoting workflow.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to make decisions that benefit the business and RFP quoting process.
  • Travel occasionally to the office for meetings, events training ect
What You Must Have

  • 5+ years related work experience in the Healthcare industry and general understanding of overall sales processes preferred.
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Preferred Risk
  • Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of business and the market to advance the organization's goals.
  • Build/manage formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization with the ability to influence business partners.
  • Perform with a sense of urgency utilizing problem solving and analytical skills to meet commitments that are aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Must reside in Jacksonville, FL or surrounding North, FL area
What we Prefer

  • Health & Life insurance certifications to be completed within 60 days of hire.
  • Experience working with sales software's such as SellPoint, GEMS, Salesforce ect.
General Physical Demands

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
  • Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Salary

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.

  • Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $72,300 - $90,400
  • Annualized Salary Range: $72,300 - $117,500
  • Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
