Mid Level - Desktop Support

Job Title: Temporary IT Support Technician

Location: 1775 St. James Place Suite 200, Houston, TX 77056

Duration: 3 Months (Temporary)

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Dress Code: Business Casual (Slacks and Polo)

Skill Level: Open to Junior, Mid-Level, or Senior

Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient desktop support including setting up computers, imaging, and troubleshooting.
• Manage user accounts and access controls using Active Directory (AD).
• Handle basic maintenance with minimal training.
• Ensure connectivity for VPN and manage network access.
• Support a transition from ServiceNow to Jira, expected in six months.
• Independently work on Windows systems, including Azure, MS Office 365, and cloud-based applications such as Adobe.
• Provide executive support as needed.
• Occasionally cover needs in an alternative location and potentially support two offices a few miles apart.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT and desktop support.
• Familiarity with AD, VPN, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365).
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and training.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills for both team collaboration and executive support.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
