We are looking for a Mid-level Electro-Optical Signal Analyst for one of our Federal customers.
Electro-Optical Signal Analyst
Allegient Defense is seeking a mid-level Electro-Optical (EO) Signal Analyst to support our USG customer in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Intelligence Community with a high level of familiarity with the below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform signal analysis on EO sources and provide recommendations on signal content and sensor systems settings necessary to improve the performance of the detection system
• Design and prototype innovative methodologies for processing optical data.
• Review, edit, and improve documentation to support various EO sensor systems, such as operating manuals and concepts of operations.
• Attend meetings with the customer and provide documentation on the results and action items from the meetings, then recommend prudent courses of action for the customer.
• Author draft documentation for the customer in support of requests for proposals, requirements documents, concepts of operations, interagency support agreements, operational security plans, and sensor evaluation reports.
• Attend conferences and perform literature reviews, then provide a written assessment on the current state-of-the-art capabilities with recommendations for future courses of action for the customer.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in physical science or engineering
• Experience in collecting optical performance data from various phenomenology's using a wide variety of sensor platforms.
• Extensive experience characterizing all types of EO systems.
• Strong proficiency working in major system analysis, development, and acquisition programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. There is no exception to the clearance requirement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in Astronomy
