This opportunity is within the CAPE team at Motorola Solutions. CAPE Aerial Telepresence provides industry-leading software for remote drone operation, live video streaming, and evidence capture for Public Safety and Enterprise applications.
Job Description

CAPE is looking for a Frontend Developer, with an interest in drone technologies, to develop solutions for drone operation and live streaming. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, multidisciplinary team with a critical skill set. You will directly contribute to the full lifecycle of projects, including https://www.cape.com/.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong web application development using Angular.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices using Python with Django or Flask.
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, SQLite, MySQL.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), writing and maintaining unit tests, and environment configuration.
• Highly self-motivated with a desire to explore new approaches and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A strong candidate may also experience working with:

• DevOps (tracking, pipelines) and Git (source control, code reviews).
• Video/Data streaming, handling data files, and analytics libraries.
• Clustering, tracking, and pathfinding algorithms or machine learning libraries.
• Hobby level interest in drones.
