Job Description

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer with a primary focus on front-end development to join our team. You will have enough of a full-stack skillset to own end-to-end delivery of apps and tools, while collaborating with our DevOps Engineer for backend support. You will also have the opportunity to serve as a product owner/manager for these apps, capturing and integrating user feedback to support app design and enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• App and Tool Development:
  • Build, deploy, and maintain employee role-specific "one-stop-shop" apps that serve as centralized hubs for schedules, performance data, training materials, announcements, and more
  • Develop front-ends for our algorithms to make them user-friendly for non-technical staff
  • Create applications that pull data from our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to facilitate better results, such as drafting session notes for technicians to review and finalize
  • Support business users in developing powerful apps in AppScript
• Front-End Development:
  • Design and implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Svelte
  • Ensure intuitive and seamless user experiences with a focus on usability and accessibility
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate front-end interfaces with backend services
• Product Ownership:
  • Act as the product owner/manager for developed apps and tools
  • Capture and integrate user feedback to inform app design and enhancements
  • Iterate on product development based on user needs and organizational goals

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on front-end technologies, ideally in a startup context where many hats needed to be worn
• Proficiency in JavaScript and front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Svelte)
• Familiarity with Python/Django/Flask
• Basic understanding of backend development and ability to collaborate on end-to-end solutions
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
