Mid-Level Software Developer (SSN-21-1241-F):

Bowhead seeks a Mid-level Software Developer to support our Orlando, Florida team of software developers and media artists in the development and deployment of C# and Unity visual simulation applications. The primary activity of this position is to create training software for the U.S. Navy.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
• Creating Unity 3D virtual environments
• Writing C# Unity code
• Creating test cases for software applications
• Documenting Code
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Four years coding/debugging experience with C#

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Developing Unity 3D applications with C#
• Collaborative software development with source control tools (e.g. Perforce, CSV, SVN, Git)
• Debugging computer software using interactive debugger (Visual Studio) and defect tracking software (e.g., Bugzilla, Jira)
• Participated in code reviews

Successful candidate will possess these qualities:
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing (in English) and understand both oral and written instructions (in English).
• Ability to network and prioritize customer service to establish/maintain effective working relationships with various internal and external customers (to include government officials, corporate officials, and employees).

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
