Mid-Level UI/UX Developer (On-Site)

At PrismHR, your role will be to develop amazing user experiences for the Human Resources space, helping transform the way small businesses and employees interact with Benefits, Payroll and Administrative functions. Our team is growing quickly and we are looking for creative self-starters with plenty of web based software application development experience under their belts to join us!
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance.
- Utilize front-end technologies and frameworks to develop visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience.
- Leverage Figma for design concept creation, wireframing, and collaboration with team members. • Apply advanced SASS techniques for efficient styling, adhering to BEM conventions for maintainable and scalable code.
- Integrate data flow mechanisms, understand component inputs/outputs, and apply Shadow DOM for encapsulation and styling.
- Manage code through Git and GitHub, demonstrating proficiency in version control, branching, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards and best practices, including accessibility guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively within a hybrid team environment to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in UI development, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design projects.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of web development standards and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in using design tools such as Figma for UI/UX design processes.
- Strong experience with SASS, including advanced features and BEM methodology.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of thriving in a hybrid work setting.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Jest for unit testing and familiarity with Docker, Visual Studio, and Storybook.
- Basic to medium graphic design skills, with an understanding of style consistency.
- Knowledge of Angular, Gulp, Adobe Design Suite, and SQL Server Management Studio is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with 508/WCAG 2 accessibility standards.
- Experience in building applications using Angular and understanding of Typescript and SASS/SCSS for robust and modular web applications.
