About you and the role:
The Mid-Market Account Executive role is an individual contributor position working to expand Passport's client base of the household direct-to-consumer brand names of the future. You will be reporting to the Director of Brand Sales and working alongside fellow Account Executives. Once you join, Passport will provide an extensive sales training program to help you approach your immediate pipeline targets, and more importantly help you grow as a sales professional. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, hungry to learn, and thrives in a high-growth organization to reach sales goals.

What you’ll be doing:
Drive revenue growth within Passport’s Mid-Market segment by building Passport's client baseActively manage named accounts, pipeline, and develop a strategy to hit your sales goalsIdentify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery, understand the prospect’s key decision-makers and adopt an solution selling approach to each specific dealMove customers efficiently through the sales process, ensuring all expectations are property set and understood, internally and externallyNegotiate pricing, contract terms and general partnership agreementsMaintain an updated, clean and thorough pipeline to ensure proper forecasting as well as up to date CRM notes so account status is clearEnsure proper handoff to the post-sales teamCollaborate with your peers across departments to support each other's successBe a leader by helping your team and new Account Executives grow and develop Analyze the market and competition to understand the industry and adapt business strategy to achieve competitive advantageWilling to travel to client meetings, trade shows and other industry or sponsored eventsYou have many of the following:
3-5 years software sales experience with no less than 2 years of that in a closing role.Experience selling to Ecommerce merchants is a plusFamiliarity with selling to Operations, Ecommerce, Marketing, or Finance teams is also a plusAn insatiable excitement about redefining international Ecommerce and helping brands reach their global potentialWillingness to “do the work” – researching, prospecting, selling, maintaining relationshipsNatural quality of fostering great team morale and motivating those around youAbility to understand client needs and handle the negotiation processWorld class organization and time management skillsCompetitive nature, driven by goal-oriented metricsProven track record of success in a Sales positionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to learn quickly and operate under pressureA history of overcoming complex challengesComputer skills, especially MS Excel and CRM softwareA home base in the United States with access to a major airportWhat you'll get...
