We are seeking a Mid Market Account Manager to join our growing Customer Success team. In this role, you will be responsible for client expansion of Submittable’s footprint by up-selling and cross-selling to our existing mid-market clients. You will own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure by leveraging a consultative sales approach and building strong relationships.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Manage the sales process through responsive, proactive, and client-focused communication and client management
- Partner closely and thoughtfully with Customer Success Managers when they identify expansion opportunities to ensure a frictionless buying process for our clients; prioritize the customer experience over the division of roles
- Make recommendations that increase the quality of solutions provided; offer holistic solutions that truly solve problems by leveraging Submittable’s products, professional services offerings, and partnerships: act and think like a market expert (not a product pusher)
- Prioritize solutions that address client challenges and facilitate desired business outcomes
- Partner with our Client Services team to foster the transition from Sales Cycle to Client Implementation
- Manage highly complex sales cycles that include multiple buyer personas
- Accurately track and forecast deals and effectively manage pipelines to ensure the achievement of all quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Problem-solve, and find creative solutions to improve our business, products, and approach
Skills & Experience we hope you’ll bring:
- 1+ years of B2B SaaS software sales experience
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills including managing deliverables to meet quality requirements and deadlines
- A superior track record of driving sales and closing deals in excess of $20K in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
- Proven and consistent track record of exceeding quotas
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Passion for product knowledge, ability to learn solutions in-depth, and deliver engaging product demos
- Ability to learn quickly, and adapt even quicker
- Highly developed interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills
We’d Love it if:
- Experience creating and responding to RFP’s a plus
- Experience creating MSA’s and SOW’s, as well as facilitating the legal review a plus
- Confidence with a healthy dose of humility
Salary Details: This position's annual OTE (On Target Earnings) range is $110,000-$140,000 per year with a pay mix of 60/40 (base/variable). actual compensation offered is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant training. We also follow a location-based compensation structure; pay ranges may vary for candidates in other locations.
Position Location: This is not a remote role and will be located in Bellevue, WA, or Missoula, MT following a hybrid work model. Employees will be expected to be onsite in our offices twice a week or as needed based on team and business needs.
