Team leader for the APAC mid-market sales team driving net new customer acquisition for Payoneer and contributing to the growth of the organization.
We’re looking for a highly talented Mid-market sales Team leader for the mid-market sales organization based in our Seoul office.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, results-oriented people leader who can operate and excel in a fast-paced environment.
You will contribute towards new customer acquisitions for Payoneer and contribute to the growth of the organization. You will drive your mid-market sales team towards success, while playing an active role in shaping the mid-market strategy for the region. This includes developing various customer segments and leading the way for flawless execution of the sales motion in the assigned territory.

What you’ll do
- You will be responsible for the mid-market sales team’s delivery of new revenue and customer acquisition for the assigned territory
- You will drive the team towards key revenue opportunities, deal closures, and performance tracking. You will provide optimum support to the team on sales coaching and skill development.
- You will provide the team with regular guidance and mentorship on business acumen, customer centricity, and sales methodologies, thus setting them up for success in their role.
- You will manage under-performance and maintain open & direct communication on expected actions and outcomes upwards and downwards.
- Individual delivery of business development or account management goals in addition to team goals. You may be assigned individual KPIs for your assigned territory.
- Partner with internal teams across the globe and create win-win situations
- Develop insights required to drive breakthrough success
- Create performance reports and presentations to the leadership team.
- Clearly articulate the opportunities and directions you see to Payoneer’s leadership
Who you are - Enter experience and skills needed
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: revenue quota carrying direct sales experience, customer success experience, business development in the Payments, SaaS, Financial, Technology, eCommerce, or other relevant verticals.
- At least 2 years of people management experience in a customer-facing environment
- Experience with SMB segment of customers a plus
- Demonstrated success in delivering against multiple projects, working virtually with cross functional teams.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM, BI, technology tools, Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with creativity to look at problems from new angles
- High degree of independence – executing independently from start to finish with ownership
Not a must but a great advantage:
- In addition to fluency in English, knowledge of at least one Asian language is a plus
- Experience in SMB business development a plus
- Experience in multi-national working environment (collaborating with remote teams) an advantage
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Experience with data analytics & BI tools
