Mid Software Engineer - Configuration Manager

Belay Technologies is seeking a Configuration Manager to join our intel team. This position is for a Configuration Manager to support change management for mission-critical applications and web services that provide Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions. Responsible for coordination of planned updates for multiple development teams by attending the CCB/prioritization meetings, recording decisions in sprint planning sessions, managing the change management tracking system (currently Redmine), and obtaining customer approvals needed for deployments. Also responsible for maintaining and continuous improvement of change management processes. This includes support for the maintenance of process documentation.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
• 5 years of Software Engineering experience. An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 9 years.
• 2+ years' work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Software Change/Configuration Management
• Software Life Cycle Stages
• Ticketing systems (Redmine, JIRA, or similar) as a user and as an administrator
• Version Control (e.g BITBUCKET, GIT)
• Outage Control systems (e.g. SPRINGRAY)
• Solid technical writing capability to be able to capture and track technical changes.
• Capable of interacting with multiple development teams daily.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple applications are being developed and deployed simultaneously. Must self-motivated and be able to work well within a team environment, be organized and multi-task.
