Mid to Sr. MDA Core Truth Model Engineer/Analyst - SEU

We are currently seeking Mid to Senior Level Systems Engineers supporting MDA Collective Test and Evaluation Center (CTEC) for our location in Huntsville, AL!

In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) SEU by using HWIL Systems of Systems Development, Integration and Testing (HWIL SOS). You will support the verification and validation (V&V) of Core Truth Model (CTM) libraries containing models that represent a wide variety of environmental states / effects (e.g., atmospheric profiles, gravity, radiofrequency effects [lens loss, clear air absorption, refraction, scintillation]).

Requirements:

• BS degree in a STEM field and 3 to 10+ years of related engineering/system engineering experience. Master's degree required for Sr. level position.
• Active Secret clearance
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Experience with modeling and analysis of complex systems
• Proficiency in Python or similar analysis tools
• Strong analysis background

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Understanding of MDA Systems Engineering practices and procedures
• Experience with radiofrequency (RF) atmospheric perturbations is desired
• Background in atmospheric sciences
• Software development familiarity
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system
