Middle Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Middle Cloud Engineer to join our remote team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cloud-based solutions across multiple platforms, enhancing and optimizing our infrastructure to meet business needs. You will be crucial to our team, implementing innovative cloud solutions and ensuring robust and scalable cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and monitor cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Develop and maintain scalable and automated cloud infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and troubleshoot cloud applications
• Perform system maintenance and disaster recovery operations
• Optimize system performance using advanced cloud technologies
• Document cloud processes and system configurations
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company leverage technology for new advantages
• Ensure efficient configuration management and resource allocation in the cloud

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud services, preferably AWS and Google Cloud Platform
• Proficient in managing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of security management in cloud environments, including experience with Vault
• Fluent in English with a B2 level proficiency or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible
• Experience with container orchestration services
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and techniques
