Job Description
We are seeking a Middle Functional Tester to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will bring a thorough understanding of healthcare payer services, including aspects such as enrollment, provider-related functionalities, broker services, benefits, and claims processing. This role requires a solid foundation in healthcare fundamentals and data, alongside proven expertise in functional testing.

Responsibilities
- Display comprehensive knowledge of healthcare payer services, including enrollment processes, provider functionalities, broker services, benefits, and claims processing
- Perform detailed functional testing to verify the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of healthcare payer service systems
- Develop and implement detailed test plans, cases, and scenarios that reflect healthcare payer requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices
- Leverage knowledge of core healthcare data concepts to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Execute test scenarios and cases to identify and address defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues, collaborating with development and QA teams for solutions
- Maintain precise documentation of test processes, results, and defect reports for clear and effective communication
- Stay informed on healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure systems meet all standards for data security and privacy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet testing objectives and project deadlines
- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing testing methodologies, tools, and overall efficiency

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Functional Tester
- Strong capabilities in defect management, including identification, documentation, and resolution processes
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare payer systems, particularly in provider management
- Proficiency in developing detailed test cases tailored to system requirements
- Ability to accurately estimate the scope and required resources for testing activities
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills at a B2 level or higher
- Experience with Facets healthcare management software
- Familiarity with Agile or other iterative development methodologies
