Middle/Senior Narrative Designer (PC, Strategy, UE5)

N-iX Games is looking for a Narrative Designer for a PC premium game.

You’ll be responsible for a game’s story description behind locations, objects, and characters. You’ll create the narrative of a new IP, and define and build a player’s emotional journey by creating all narrative aspects of a captivating, hard SCI-FI world. Requirements:

• At least three years in the games industry and two years in the narrative design area.
• Design story and narrative-driven content; 
• Creating and maintaining design documentation to communicate changes to the team.
• Conduct progress reviews of narrative elements, gathering feedback from the team members and play testers to reach the best possible result within project limitations.
• Be forward-thinking and anticipate the game's needs with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
• Desire and ability to support other Game Designers in defining systems and structures to improve the game experience throughout the entire game, not just in the story/narrative area.

Nice to have:

• At least one shipped commercial title is a huge plus.
• Experience with Unreal Engine.
• Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Written English (at least B2).
• Familiarity with hard sci-fi genre, and narrative strategy games.
• A portfolio containing examples of narrative work and examples of style variety is a plus.
