Your Role and Responsibilities
Middleware Team Lead are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of and access to our most important resource data. You will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.
Job Responsibilities :-

• Installation profile creation configuration of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment environment.
• Configuring WebSphere Application Server for high availability including setting up server clusters load balancing and failover mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted application availability.
• Installation and configuration of JBOSS EAP as a standalone server as well as managed domain
• Configure messaging subsystem by configuring various messaging resources.
• Good experience in configuring Web Subsystem through management console / CLI.
• Good experience in configuring mod_cluster subsystem.
• Routine administrative tasks such as starting and stopping servers monitoring server health and managing server resources.
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues such as startup failures connectivity problems or application deployment errors.
• Good troubleshooting experience in analysing server hung scenario OutOfMemory errors high CPU utilization scenario and come up with detailed RCA along with the resolution.
• Configuration of JDBC Provider Data Sources JMS Resources Service Integration Bus for seamless integration with database and message providers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Middleware Administration with good troubleshooting experience in products like WebSphere Application Server JBOSS Application Server Apache Tomcat Microsoft IIS etc.
• Able to create and manage user accounts roles and permissions within WebSphere Application Server to control access and security.
• Able to monitor server performance metrics such as CPU usage memory consumption and response times and reporting any anomalies or performance issues.
• Review and analyse server logs to identify errors warnings or other issues that may affect the server or application performance.
• Configure security settings such as SSL certificates creation certificate renewal authentication mechanisms and authorization policies.
• Detailed analysis of thread dump heap dump and come up with the RCA along with resolution on a quick turnaround time.
• Detailed analysis of high CPU utilization scenario with the RCA along with resolution.
• Good experience in profile backup and restoration.
• Keeping up to date with the latest security patches updates and fixes released by IBM for WebSphere Application Server
• Integrating Web Servers with WebSphere / JBOSS / Tomcat Application Server and investigate issues related to requests not routing load balancing etc.
• Review the Vulnerability assessment report shared the security team prepare the action plan to mitigate the vulnerability highlighted and implement the suggestion to ensure all those points are addressed on time.
