Mid/Senior Test Engineer

Belay Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer (TE) to join our intel team. The TE analyzes system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results. The TE supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. The TE works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration. The TE provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the SOW.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI with full scope polygraph is required.
• Must have a B.S. with 5 years of experience; Or no degree with 9 years of experience.
• Five (5) years' experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Public Key Enabling (PKE), RESTful services and containers (Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Java programming language, Perl programming language, Java EE, Secure web (SSL), and file encryption.
• LDAP (RedHat directory), Java Linux (CentOS), Modern IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.) and Agile Scrum process.
• Two (2) years' experience testing products written in Java or GoLang.
• Three (3) years' experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system.
• Two (2) years' experience testing a Messaging Service (such as JavaxMessaging Service, TIBCO, ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka).
• One (1) year experience using a requirement tracking tool (such as Redmine, Jira).
• One (1) year experience using automated testing tools.

Candidates are required to have the following skills and experiences:

• IAT Level I (A+, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+, SSCP)

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Familiarity with SIGINT security rules
• CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certificate, IA Baseline Certificate for the Primary Computing environment/Operating System/Security tool: Security+ CE; CAP; CND; Cloud+; GSLC

ETR Test Team: ETR applications require full stack (front-end and back-end) testing. Two of the main applications (JDTS and JUMPGATE) have UIs that provide an ability for a user to configure the software as well as monitor and see metrics for data flows configured to go through each instance. Front-end testing is required to verify UI functionality and back-end testing to fully test software capabilities related to data flow functionality, streams, logging, and integration testing. The ETR test team also supports DARKGATEWAY, this application is a web-based tool that has centralized monitoring and metrics about data flows, as well as health and status monitoring. The majority of DARKGATEWAY testing is front-end focused.
