Job Description

Applied Research Solutions is seeking full-time Mid and Senior Developers located at WPAFB, OH and remote locations. The Developers' primary function will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of our backend services while supporting SLAKE.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, Develop, Test Backend services, written in Go, to orchestrate cloud APIs
  • Lead the development team
  • Assist the service desk in resolving issues with the backend services
  • Develop DevSecOps tools and techniques as necessary to construct an automated and secure DevSecOps pipeline
  • Develop DevSecOps monitoring and reporting capabilities to allow developers, testers and stakeholders to observe the availability and performance of the system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master's preferred
  • 10+ years of experience developing and compiling code
  • 2+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
  • Strong foundation in Linux and virtual machines
  • Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
