Migration Consultant

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Migration Consultant in India.

This role sits within a global professional services environment focused on enabling seamless data and document migration for enterprise life sciences platforms. You will play a key part in helping customers transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuity of critical R&D information. The position involves working closely with technical architects, migration leads, and client stakeholders to design and execute end-to-end migration strategies. You will contribute to complex implementation projects that require strong technical understanding of data structures, APIs, and enterprise integrations. The environment is collaborative, client-facing, and highly impact-driven, where precision and reliability are essential. You will be responsible for supporting and delivering end-to-end data and document migration solutions across complex enterprise implementations.

• Contribute to migration projects involving the transfer of document content and structured data from legacy systems into modern cloud platforms
• Participate in full lifecycle migration activities, including planning, execution, validation, and post-migration support
• Collaborate with migration leads, architects, and cross-functional teams to define best practices and technical approaches
• Support customer validation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data
• Work with APIs, data migration tools, and platform services to build reliable migration workflows
• Develop and enhance internal tools and reusable components to improve migration efficiency
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and standardized migration frameworks
• Engage with global client teams in complex enterprise environments to ensure successful delivery outcomes

Requirements:

This role requires strong technical consulting experience with enterprise systems, data migration, and customer-facing project delivery.

• 3+ years of experience with Veeva Development Cloud applications or similar enterprise platforms
• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical consulting roles
• 3+ years of experience in data migration, system integration, or implementation projects
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling concepts
• Experience working with REST APIs and integration workflows
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to work in large, complex, and globally distributed project teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have:

• Experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry environments
• Familiarity with clinical, regulatory, quality, or safety business processes
• Experience with ETL tools, Python, or Java
• Knowledge of GxP compliance and validation processes
• Exposure to migration verification and data quality assurance practices
