Role Overview

As a Migration Leader specializing in cloud migrations you will play an important role in assessing designing and implementing end-to-end migration strategies for enterprise clients. Leveraging a deep understanding of cloud platforms infrastructure applications and modern IT ecosystems you will guide organizations through complex transitions while aligning technical solutions with business objectives. Engagements will be primarily focused on migration transformation and infrastructure consolidation but may also include automation optimization and lifecycle services. As an experienced technology leader you will be accountable for delivering business value by scoping design and delivery. You will be responsible for building migration-at-scale capability which includes an optimized process hybrid (onshore and nearshore) execution model reusable accelerators and automation strategy

Brings extensive experience in leading end-to-end migration projects from initial assessments and planning to execution and post-migration optimization. Skilled in handling complex large-scale migrations involving diverse workloads and hybrid environments.

Expert in addressing migration challenges such as dependency mapping workload prioritization and minimizing downtime. Combines technical expertise with innovative thinking to resolve issues and ensure successful transitions.

Customer-Centric:

Highly experienced in collaborating with clients to understand their migration needs assessing current infrastructure and applications and delivering tailored solutions that align with both technical and business objectives.

Collaborative Leader:

Skilled at engaging cross-functional teams to build alignment on migration goals increase collaboration and deliver outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.

Technical skills:

15+ years' professional services experience in multi-cloud environments including hybrid architectures and migrations.

Deep proficiency in Azure AWS and GCP platforms with advanced certifications and hands-on experience in designing scalable secure and cost-effective cloud architectures.

Certifications:

Azure: Azure Solutions Architect Expert / AWS: Solutions Architect Professional / GCP: Professional Cloud Architect

Extensive experience in data center consolidation infrastructure modernization and application migration across VMware AWS Azure and GCP.

Expertise in profiling risks mapping dependencies and planning workload relocation

Advanced knowledge of VMware Hyper-V and Xen hypervisor technologies with experience in architecting migrations from virtualized and on-premises environments.

Comprehensive knowledge of Windows and Linux OS including application dependency mapping scripting for automation and troubleshooting OS-related migration challenges.

Expertise in selecting integrating and leveraging migration tools:

Azure: ASR Azure Migrate

AWS: Migration Hub Server Migration Service (SMS)

GCP: Migration Center Transfer Appliance

15+ years' professional services experience in which 3–5 years experience of tooling integration and strategy.

Leadership in conducting migration assessments analyzing workloads and creating tailored plans for seamless transitions.

Deep understanding of application and infrastructure architecture complexity profiling and integration/dependency mapping.

Working knowledge of infrastructure/application modernization strategies during migrations software lifecycle automation and DevOps principles.

Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

Foundational understanding of database systems storage architectures and networking to address integration and performance challenges during migrations.

Nice to have advanced scripting capabilities (Python PowerShell Bash) for automation and tool customization.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional ability to convey complex technical solutions to diverse audiences from technical teams to C-level executives.

Skilled in leading customer-facing workshops to educate stakeholders gather requirementsand build consensus on migration strategies.

Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor engineers drive alignment across teams and deliver outcomes aligned with business objectives.

Proven ability to work with diverse teams including architecture data security and project management ensuring a unified migration approach.

Proficient in designing reviewing and overseeing the execution of runbooks for seamless delivery.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required preferably in field related to role.
