Mil-Aero Operations Intern
Job Description
The Mil/Aero Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the Mil/Aero organization at a high level while learning about the various roles and responsibilities across the company (i.e., quoting, logistics, strategic accounts, warehouse, etc.)

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support ongoing projects within Mil/Aero group to gain an understanding of the warehouse and how we support the Military and Aerospace industry.
- Conduct external research such as industry benchmarking and publication reviews/synthesis to explore best practices.
- Provide valuable insight and feedback from meetings, interactions, reviews, and research on how best to improve and streamline internal processes.
- Interacts and works with multiple departments across the organization to support effective Military and Aerospace Operations.
- Observe, learn, and shadow account reps, business development managers, and customer operations managers to gain firsthand exposure learning about the sales cycles, the quote process, and distribution in general.
- Work closely with the Business Operations Analyst to assist in reviewing and generating custom reports to analyze data and identify trends.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must be pursing degree from a four-year University in related field of study, preferably in Junior or Senior year of college, or have completed four-year degree. Studies with a focus/interest in a career in operations, logistics, aviation, or business management preferred. Some work experience preferred.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Exhibit ability to learn and retain technical knowledge of company products and services.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) at an intermediate level required.
