This person leads and contributes to independent program-readiness assessment across the space system lifecycle for commercially available and customized systems, supports future strategy for data supported risk decisions, supports independent review teams during system design, and influences policy and norms of behavior that effect operational reliability. This person may also organize and lead interdisciplinary teams to perform studies involving forward looking risk and mission assurance assessments of space systems.

  • Interface with and create working relationships with industry leaders and SMEs.
  • Use frameworks and other techniques to support independent program assessments (i.e., independent review teams (IRTs), red teams, Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), operational readiness assessment, etc.) and provide objective analysis of space, ground, and launch systems at gated reviews.

What you Need to be Successful
  • BS degree in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or related technical discipline or the experience equivalent
