Job Summary:
The role involves the development, calibration, and sustainment of various division programs, including investigative metrics. The position requires serving as the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) administrator, coordinating access, and managing content for all users and external stakeholders. This role supports the client by maintaining up-to-date departmental documentation and producing reports, flowcharts, and slide decks for major projects. The individual will serve as a liaison for special events, facilitate special projects, and apply a broad range of administrative concepts, policies, and analytical methods to address technical challenges.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Key responsibilities include providing advisory and technical services on organizational functions and work practices, developing new or modified administrative procedures, and delivering briefings, reports, and project papers. The role also involves interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and creating ongoing reports. The individual will develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics to enhance statistical efficiency and quality. Additionally, the position involves acquiring and maintaining data from various sources, identifying and interpreting trends in complex datasets, prioritizing business and information needs, and locating opportunities for process improvements. Additional duties include:

  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Prepare and assist development of policy documents
  • Prepare, edit, and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations
  • Work effectively with other branches and divisions within the organization to accomplish tasks
  • Assist, as needed, with special projects
  • Obtain necessary information from appropriate source(s) to complete assigned tasks and share information with others as needed
  • Oversee the development, revision, and preparation of training materials
  • Oversee the development and editing of regularly scheduled status reports, as requested
  • Complete other ad hoc assignments, as determined.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of (8) years of experience in project or program management, or related
  • work with a minimum of five of the (8) years in conducting analytical and support
  • activities related to task area.
  • A minimum education requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data
  • Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently
  • Ability to effectively manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide clear guidance and training on technical processes, both in person and via MS Teams.
