Required Skills:

• Must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through a nationally recognized accreditation organization (e.g., The Project Management Institute).
• Must have experience in support of the Mitigation Program including
• Program implementation and support
• Program design, application, and guideline development;
• Policy and Procedure review and development;
• Application threshold eligibility review;
• Draft Request for Information for any needed supporting documentation.; and
• Site visit preparation documents.
• Training for Commerce and Subrecipient staff, including but not limited to the following topics:
• Onboarding of new Grant Manager’s and Subrecipient Staff as requested;
• Housing and Urban Development policies and cross cutting measures and updates;
• Policy and Procedures updates; and
• Federal Laws and Requirements.
• Must know the PMBOK methodology.
• Providing weekly and monthly executive briefings to the OLTR Director; briefings shall include, at least:
• A report on the overall status of the program;
• A report on the status of each project and any risks or issues that might impact the progress of the program or any project;
• A report on the current projected timeline for each program area, including timelines for compliance with any federal laws or guidance documents; and
• Project accomplishments.
• Should know about the Commerce’s owned System of Record (SOR).
• Must be able to Perform other support and consulting functions as required by Commerce
• Must be able to assist the mitigation staff with preparation for all HUD and Commerce monitoring and audits.
