Marketing Project Specialist

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing projects to include developing materials for marketing initiatives, planning and coordinating special events and writing content for both print and electronic marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop marketing project schedules and timelines; insure that deadlines are met.
• Write copy for marketing materials.
• Support Director of Business Development as needed with strategy, development and implementation of on-going marketing and advertising initiatives.
• Assist in the administration of the department and project budgets and reporting on the work performed.
• Work with the creative team on the concept, design and production of marketing materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Four to six years of related experience in a marketing/advertising/public relations environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills. Possess a high level of creativity, imagination and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to make sound decisions, prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.
• Strong computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and Web Graphics preferred.
• Experience using design software, including Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
