ML Data Engineer

Introduction
Our Software Networking Unit is looking for Data Engineers to join our development team of data scientists & MLOps engineers to drive Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning solutions for our data rich suite of software cloud networking products.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This role primarily focuses on developing ML solutions which leverage data from our products to drive insights and decision-making for our customers. The core responsibilities of the role involve supporting the automation development and implementation of machine learning and deep learning models management of big data infrastructure and execution of data engineering tasks. The successful candidate will be part of our AI/ML development team who design create and support AI-driven products to deliver impactful AI solutions.

Your role and responsibility will encompass:

• Implementing solution for data engineering in data science / machine learning domain
• Designing developing and implementing end-to-end data solutions (storage integration processing access)
• Architecting and implementing ETL and data movement solutions
• Designing and implementing high velocity streaming solutions
• Creating conceptual logical and physical data models
• Migrating data from traditional relational database systems to relational databases such as Azure SQL and Azure Synapse
• Implementing ad-hoc analysis solutions
• Ensuring platforms and tools meet or exceed data security standards including internal and external audits performed

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in data modelling ETL & ETL tools
• Demonstrate capability in data lake data warehousing data integration data migration tools knowledge data quality and profiling skills
• Experienced in relational database such as SQL server Postgres DB2 Oracle etc
• Experienced in noSQL databases such as MongoDB Cassandra Hadoop
• Experienced in a programming language such as Python Java C/C++
• Possesses knowledge in processing transferring and reducing large volumes of data while maintaining high performance.
• Possesses experience of having solved complex analytical and technical problems
• Linux skills preferably in RHEL
• Proficient in both spoken and written English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Preferred experience in one or more cloud data platform such as IBM Cloud AWS Azure GCP
• Preferred experience in collaboration with data scientist in data exploration and machine learning
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Certification in data engineering machine learning or AI.
