ML Sensor Simulation Software Engineer Internship/Co-op

Develop and test ML models and training datasets for sensor simulation using modern machine learning architectures. Collaborate with Sensor Sim, Perception, and V&V teams to evaluate and iteratively improve the fidelity of sensor simulation. The 3D Sensor Simulation team's work is at the core of creating high fidelity synthetic data for training and testing AV AI, as well as real time sensor data for hardware-in-the-loop simulation.

Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements

Python required; C++ is a plus

Expertise in Pytorch or Tensorflow

Demonstrable knowledge of genAI techniques such as flow matching, diffusion, or VAE

Solid computer vision fundamentals

Bonus Qualifications

Knowledge of RADAR or LIDAR preferred

Familiarity with 3D graphics geometry representations

Strong interest in autonomous vehicles

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500 . Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
