We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a MMX Marketing Specialist II on our Membership and Marketing team. This position can be hybrid (working from both office and home), with a schedule to be determined by business needs.
As a MMX Marketing Specialist II you will support the Member EngagementTeam by collaborating in the planning, scheduling and tracking of internal and external marketingcommunication activities for key member engagement programs. Coordinateseffective marketing and communication activities with key internal and externalstakeholders, creates promotional content and supports efforts to increase membershipand engagement (registration, participation and utilization) to key memberprograms. Monitors performance andtracks results to help enhance marketing efforts. Coordinates creation ofcreative assets with internal and external creative teams along with running eventand program logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports development execution of marketing assetsand tactics
- Develop content and marketing campaign materials, including theme, content and image recommendations with support form SME's
- Coordinate marketing tactics that span digital, print, video, events, tradeshows to drive membership conversion and engagement with key member programs
- Coordinate, collaborate and maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure awareness, cohesion and alignment on implementation of marketing tactics
- Work with creative, direct and marketing team to establish procedures, guidelines and other marketing-related process improvements tools
- Track asset use in marketing programs and provide recommendations for future asset distribution
- Liaison between program owners and direct marketing team ensuring assets and messaging are disseminated and leveraged through all appropriate channels
- Coordinates updates to website pages and marketing material
- Collaborate with internal and external designers and copywriters to develop high quality creative assets
Supports the execution of events, programs and/orconferences
- Research, identify and plan all logistics for programs by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating marketing material
- Work with creative team to help deliver proper branding to each and all events/programs and that meets brand specifications
- Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with creative department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt and proper paperwork is being processed with vendors
- Responsible for tracking event/program budgets
Monitors segment insights
- Monitor performance of marketing tactics, customer feedback, and market trends and interpret results to inform sales, marketing, product and content strategies and plans
- Monitor marketing industry news and submit reports on emerging trends to management each month
- Stay current on news in health care by monitoring healthcare publications, and subscriptions to daily newsletters; report on key learnings to engagement team in daily standup meetings
May include other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing /communications preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, communications, or related fields required; minimum of 2 years of health care-focused marketing experience preferred
- Experience with planning for and executing on project/marketing plans required; experience with Asana preferred
- Demonstrated ability to write promotional content and create marketing assets for a variety of audience types
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and manage competing projects effectively
- Ability to perform in a high visibility team environment as well as be a strong individual contributor
- Strong problem-solving skills and a clear commitment to teamwork
- Demonstrated sense of initiative and professionalism
