Mobile Developer - Android

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated android developer to join our growing company. You will collaborate as part of a team of developers to work on creating and maintaining iOS apps.

As an android developer, you will need to be familiar with the android ecosystem and mobile app development, including familiarity with popular app frameworks and software development best practices. Your duties will include maintaining existing codebases, including bug fixing, and creating apps from scratch as part of a team while following all coding guidelines and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and deploy applications for the Android platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Troubleshoots business and production issues for mobile devices
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with a remote development team
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in Android development
• Strong understanding of mobile app development best practices and design patterns
• Extensive experience with Android SDKs, Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript
• Experience working with RESTful APIs/SOAP and integrating with third-party libraries
• Experience with the agile methodology
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
