DESCRIPTION

Slync.io is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our quickly growing team! This position will not be location-specific and can be performed remotely. The Mobile Software Engineers work closely with Data Platform engineers to develop and publish React Native and mobile native solutions to major mobile platforms. Experience with either iOS or Android is required, experience with both is a great plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications

• Design algorithms to implement new features

• Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements

• Test and deploy applications to mobile stores

• Troubleshoot, refactor, maintain and improve existing code and applications

• Develop technical documentation to guide future projects

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-time Mobile Developer/Software Engineer developing Android and/or iOS applications

• Kotlin or Swift experience

• React Native and TypeScript is a plus!

• Solid understanding of data structures, concurrent programming

• Able to write elegant, efficient, and testable code

• Experience publishing applications to mobile application store

• Understanding of all Agile principles

• Ability to work in ambiguity and iterate on a solution without explicit direction 

• Willingness to continuously evolve and improve

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Strong written and oral communication skills
