Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer 1

The Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer is a specialized role focused on designing, implementing, and managing mobile device solutions within our IT infrastructure. This position is crucial in ensuring our mobile devices' security, functionality, and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of mobile device management platforms, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to achieve organizational goals.

What your impact will look like here:

• Design, implement, and manage mobile device management solutions to ensure seamless integration with our existing IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and compliance of mobile devices within Granicus.
• Develop and enforce mobile device policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and efficiency of mobile operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mobile devices, addressing connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of mobile devices to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate mobile devices with enterprise systems and applications.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in mobile device management technologies and industry trends.
• Train and educate end-users on mobile device policies, security practices, and usage guidelines.
• Participate in the planning and executing of mobile device deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of mobile device configurations, policies, and procedures.

You will love this job if you have:

• Proven experience in mobile device management and support, with a strong understanding of MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mobile device issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to a diverse audience.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and mobile application management.
• Experience with security protocols and practices related to mobile devices, including encryption, MFA, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Certifications related to mobile device management or IT security are a plus.
